Images of America: Oconee, SC

This book is written and dedicated to the Oconee County Library in celebration of its 50th Anniversary. The Oconee County Library, like many libraries in the United States, suffers from budget cuts and few resources. Yet, some how, the mission remains the same and libraries continue to educate the people, rich and poor, on farms or frontiers or in cities.

This book presents a unique perspective regarding an endless task: Books to the People. And here's how people did it in the past.
